Happy Holidays!

Happy Holidays!
Everyone says it, we all mean it, and this year we all really need it!
We decided to have some fun this year for the holidays, money's tight but we still wanted to help out our favorite cause, Sparrow Clubs. So, me being the avid motorcyclist that I am decided that Santa, the real Santa, that is, needed to come pay a visit to our studio & help us raise some funds for our Sparrow kids. But as it would happen, we don't really have any snow yet so the big guy had to cruise in on his year-round sled, his Hog.

We spent the 5th & 6th photographing kids & families with Santa & his Harley to raise some awareness and cash for Sparrow Clubs of Southern Oregon. Missed it? No worries, you can still participate & have some fun with the big guy next week, December 12th & 13th 10am to 3ish (its up to you to make it go longer!

Also!
Thanks to Jenn Hedgepeth, owner of Gluten-Free Gourmet and mom of a Sparrow, we're selling sugar cookies! You absolutely have to come buy some cookies, even if you don't sit with Santa, so I don't eat them all!

So come by, even just to say hi! Or even better come have some photos with Santa!
Call us for a time & help out a great cause. 541-779-0863

Beach Photography

We recently took pictures of the Moore family on Harris Beach, located just outside of Brookings, OR. It was crazy windy but we had a blast! What was really cool is we've been photographing these guys since before Kysa was born (that's the little girl on the rock). Its really great to watch a new family grow, She's in kindergarten this year! And little brother Deegan is running around with the sweetest grin!
Thanks again Guys for being a part of our family.

Wedding Season

...has arrived! And we have been spending our weekends with brides and grooms photographing weddings all around the Rogue Valley! Being part of a couple's special day means so much to us and we are honored to capture their very special moments.

We have recently updated our wedding menu to include four packages named Bellissimo, Molto Bello, Di Moda, and Piccolo. Also new is our hourly coverage with two photographers, so we now offer full coverage (two photographers for up to seven hours), and hourly coverage with one or two photographers. After the wedding, we've also added new items to display your images. As always we offer traditional prints and wall portraits with custom framing, but also new is our upgraded album selection and gallery wraps.

Thank you to all of our brides and grooms this summer for asking us to take part in your special day!

2009 Senior Spokesmodels!

Beyond Images Photography is currently searching for seniors in the class of 2009 to help begin a brand new project. Our Spokesmodel Program is a great way for high school seniors to earn free senior pictures and cash credit towards picture packages! It's a referral program, so the more friends that are directed to our studio, the more free stuff a senior will receive!

First, we set all of our Spokesmodels up with a FREE senior session. Then, we give the senior a bunch of really cool stuff to show his/her friends! Each referral is a worth a cash credit to the senior, plus the referred client gets a discount, too!

Best of all, all spokesmodels who refer over 10 seniors will receive an iPod Nano! Please contact the studio for more details and to fill out an application today!

In our thoughts...

Yesterday, Joe was asked to photograph the memorial service of Medford's fallen firemen, Gail Gurr and John Wells. The service was emotional, but Joe said it was moving to see the respect that firemen have for their fellow comrades. The experience saddens us, but we were honored to be part of a ceremony that remembers such amazing men.

Thunder Struck Custom Bikes

We had a cool shoot in the studio last weekend, Mark Daley from Thunder Struck Custom Bikes brought in one of his latest custom choppers, Soul Shaker. He and the new owner, John Barker (pictured), came in to get some shots of this one-of-a-kind custom bike. We had a great time working together and look forward to seeing more of his creations in the near future!

To see more of Mark Daley's work, check out his website.

Our Staff

Beyond Images is constantly evolving and changing and so is our staff. Joe [SEPPI] is head photographer and studied photography in the Napa Valley. In the 90s, he moved to Oregon and in 1999, with his wife Stephanie, created Beyond Images Photography. It doesn't matter if he's shooting a family, a newborn, a senior in high school, a wedding, or high fashion, his pictures always capture the true essence of his subject (and his hair always looks great, too)!

Stephanie is the business' guru. She grew up in the Rogue Valley and got her first job in photography straight out of high school. Ever since then she has been in the business and brings a lot of experience to the team. She handles everything behind the scenes at Beyond Images and can multi-task like no one else! Stephanie and Joe have four children ranging in age from 13-19, Shaden, Haven, Piper, and Chelsea.

The newest member of the team is Lauren White, me! I joined Beyond Images in October and have really been enjoying myself. Originally, I am from the midwest and moved to the Rogue Valley in June of 2007. I earned my degree in Communications: Media Production and immediately went to work for a commercial video production company in Kansas City. I find photgraphy so interesting and am glad to have this opportunity to now work in this facet of the industry. If you call the studio, I'm probably the one who will answer!

We're back!

After a year of playing hooky, we're back to blog and have an exciting new announcement, WE'VE MOVED! We are still in downtown Medford, but are now located at 22 S. Central, across the street from the Craterian Theater. Our new space is really cool and includes a spiral staircase, hardwood floors, and a bigger studio with a skylight! Overall, the new space is just a really relaxed environment that is perfect for picture taking. The photos on the left are of Steph and Lauren in the front, and then a picture of a portion of the studio in the back. We're excited to show it off, so please stop by anytime and check it out (and please excuse the slight mess- we're still settling in)!
